Meet the Special-T Spray Foam Team

 

Réjean "Rej" Rivest is the father of two children, Mélanie and Sébastien Rivest. His daughter Melanie, lives in southern Ontario, has four children, and works in the health field. He co-founded Special-T Spray Foam Inc., three years ago with his son Sébastien, and wife Diane out of a desire to make a difference on our global environment and our customer base has been growing steadily since. Prior to creating Special-T Spray Foam Inc., Réjean had been a traditional fiberglass insulation installer since 1975. With over 35 years experience in the insulation industry, he is certified (click here to see his card) with The Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association (CUFCA) as an installer for 2lbs medium density spray foam and .5lb low density spray foam insulation. A dependable, honest man who's always ready to help out. Rej is not only the company's onsite supervisor but is also responsible for Special-T Spray Foam's operating machinery. He does all the maintenance on our equipment. When a customer is on site and has questions or concerns, Rej is always eager to answer their concerns with detailed, honest, and confident answers which is why he has built a reputation for making his customers feel at ease.

 

Diane Rivest is a mother of two children, Mélanie and Sébastien Rivest. Her daughter Melanie, lives in southern Ontario, has four children, and works in the health field. Diane founded Special-T Spray Foam Inc. three years ago with her husband Réjean and son Sébastien, out of a desire to make a difference on our global environment and our customer base has been growing steadily since. Prior to creating Special-T Spray Foam Inc. with her husband and son Sébastien (see below). Diane had been a traditional fiberglass insulation installer since the mid 80's. With over 25 years experience in the insulation industry, she is certified (click here to see her card) with The Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association (CUFCA) as an installer for 2lbs medium density spray foam and .5lb low density spray foam insulation. Diane is enthusiastic and always looking forward to working, loves her job. Diane is one of our sprayers, but her main goal is assuring that the foam is at its best quality. To make sure of this, she performs what we call a Density Test , Adhesion, and Cohesion Test (click to view Diane performing the test) on the foam to ensure the manufacturer's minimum required density has been met. These tests are done on every job that we perform and sent to our Third party Quality Assurance program (CUFCA) on a daily basis.

Today I am proud of our growing company and most of all, to be working along side my husband, son, and daughter-in-law on a daily basis.

 

Sébastien Rivest was born in Calgary, and spent his childhood between Alberta and Ontario before settling down in his native city of Calgary. He founded Special-T Spray Foam Inc. with his mother Diane, and father Réjean, three years ago. Out of a desire to make a difference on our global environment and our customer base has been growing steadily since. Prior to creating Special-T Spray Foam Inc., Sébastien followed his father's footprints and worked as a traditional fiberglass insulation installer since 1996. With over 13 years experience in the insulation industry, he is certified (click here to see his card) with The Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association (CUFCA) as an installer for 2lbs medium density spray foam and .5lb low density spray foam insulation. A proud father of three, he is one of our main spray foam installers and highly motivated. Sébastien is so dedicated to professionalism and doing it right the first time, he could of been Mike Holme's little brother! It's no wonder Sébastien's personal motto has always been... Safety Comes First! A tireless and serious worker, he is always ready to work, knows what needs to be done, the best way to get it done, and when to do it. There's never any confusion with him, he makes sure the company provides excellent service to the client each and every time. Sébastien's main goal is to keep making his company grow its client base and later teach his children the trade so they can take over the business if they wish to do so.
